PUBLIC NOTICE

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town Board for the Town of Mexico will hold a Public Hearing at 7:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible on February 12, 2024, at the Mexico Town Hall located at 64 S. Jefferson Street in the Town of Mexico, to consider proposed Local Law No. 1 of 2024, a local law amending Local Law No. 5 of 2022 regarding income qualifications for partial tax exemptions on certain real property owned by eligible persons 65 years of age or over for the Town of Mexico. All interested parties will be heard at the public hearing. A copy of the proposed Local Law No. 1 of 2024 may be reviewed at the Town Clerk’s Office located at 64 S. Jefferson Street in the Town of Mexico.
