This is a comprehensive survey of important issues and interests that will help inform and guide the Smart Growth Comprehensive Plan for the town and village of Mexico over the next 10-20 years.

Updating a comprehensive plan is crucial for a town or village to ensure it addresses current and future needs effectively. It allows the community to reassess and realign its goals, reflecting changes in demographics, economic conditions, and environmental factors. An updated plan promotes sustainable development, improves infrastructure, and enhances quality of life by incorporating modern planning practices and community feedback. It also strengthens the town's ability to attract investments and secure grants, providing a clear and strategic framework for growth and development. The Town and Village of Mexico understand this necessity and have reached out to the Central New York Regional Planning and Development Board (CNY RPDB) to help with this endeavor. Community input is KEY to successful updates so we need YOUR help! We can't wait to work with you!
