The highway department is responsible for maintaining 66 miles of town roads. They are also responsible for snow removal on town and county roads.

Local Law #1 of 2006 prohibits parking on all town roads from 12 midnight to 7 AM from December 1st to April 1st.

When plowing your driveway, do not plow across the road. Piles of snow left in the road make it potentially dangerous for on-coming traffic, as well as for our snowplows.
