TAX COLLECTION
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that I, Nicole Wild, Tax Collector of the Town of Mexico, County of Oswego, and State of New York, have duly received the tax roll and warrant for the collection of taxes within the Town of Mexico for the year 2026, and that I will be at 64 South Jefferson Street, in said Town of Mexico, from January 5, 2026 to March 31, 2026 10:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Monday thru Thursday for the purpose of receiving taxes listed on said roll.
TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that taxes may be paid on or before February 1, 2026 without charge of interest. On all taxes received after such date, there shall be added 1% interest for each additional month until such taxes are returned to the Oswego County Treasures Office.
TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that pursuant to the provisions of law, the tax roll of the Town of Mexico will be returned to the Oswego County Treasures Office on the 1st day of April, 2026. TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that by order of the Town Board via Resolution 2025-89, all cash payments need to be in the exact amount.
